Garlic Skin: Make A Recipe Out Of Garlic Skin

Hypertension

Consumption of high doses of garlic, on a regular basis, is good for reducing high blood pressure.

Blood pressure consistently above 140/80 is considered high and risky if not controlled. The systolic and diastolic pressure are both controlled by regular consumption of garlic in high doses, especially when this is accompanied by regular aerobic exercises.

It has the effect of dilating or expanding the arteries for free flow of blood and oxygen to all parts of the body.

Garlic is thus very good for hypertensive patients, heart patients, as well as people suffering from arteriosclerosis or hardening of blood vessels instead of being elastic.

Control of diabetes mellitus

Type 11 Diabetes or non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus is a dangerous condition whereby the individual is not able to control his or her sugar and the sugar in the blood is consistently above 120mg/dL.

Garlic consumption is also good in lowering blood sugar, thus it is hypoglycemic. Diabetics should consume garlic very regularly and in high doses.

4-8 gloves twice daily will be very helpful for this condition.

It controls obesity as well. A body mass index- BMI, of over 30, signals obesity and this predisposes type 11 diabetes and hypertension. It is also preventive of diabetes and hypertension when garlic is consumed liberally and regularly.

Cholesterol Reduction

Consumption of garlic helps in reducing cholesterol, especially the one we call bad cholesterol or Low Density Cholesterol LDL.

It helps to increase High Density Cholesterol or HDL, that is the good cholesterol that is needed by the body.

Garlic works by making the absorption of bad cholesterol through the villi of the small intestine into the bloodstream very difficult.

There is scientific research to buttress the fact that garlic decreases bad cholesterol in the blood. Indian journal of medicine vol. 13. no 1 has some findings to prove this assertion.
